It is not too late yet to wish all my friends a HAPPY and HOPEFUL NEW YEAR. I say ‘hopeful’ for things in the world don’t look very hopeful. Russia-Ukraine, China-Taiwan, Israel-Gaza, Antisemitism, worldwide advance of Islam, worldwide persecution of Christians, the presidential election in the US, etc. The psalmist said, “But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in Your hand.” Ps.31:14-15. And Jeremiah said, “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope (trust) in Him!” Lamentations 3:24. AMEN.
