Diamond wedding anniversary.
Yesterday, Wednesday, Sept.14, Les Frey drove me to the hospital in Guelph.
I was made ready for the abdominal aorta aneurysm surgery, which took place
from about 11 am until almost 3pm.
Today, Thursday, Sept. 15, our Dimond wedding day, Les came to pick me up at
1.15 pm and drove me home. Marina and I both had a bit of a rest and then Les took us to Waterloo for our anniversary celebration, and later picked us up again too.
How wonderful that in spite of these physical problems, we were able to be together and celebrate God’s goodness over the years. We thanked Him for His protection and provisions all these years. All glory to Him. Blessed be the name of the Lord, hallelujah.

Congratulations Richard and Marina! Amazing how you, Richard, could leave the hospital so soon after serious surgery. And celebrate… Hope you can now rest that body and enjoy quiet recovery.
